Counselling Psychologist in Lostwithiel, Cornwall

I am a qualified HCPC-registered psychologist running a private practice based in Lostwithiel, Cornwall focusing on physical health & psychological wellbeing. We all experience difficulties in our lives. Most of the time we manage to overcome these difficulties, where we can build resilience & even thrive in the face of adversity. There are other times however, when even with our best efforts, our struggles may persist and can stop us from enjoying life to the full. It’s at these times seeing a professional psychological therapist may be beneficial.

What would a session be like with me?

You can contact me for an initial free telephone consultation that lasts 15-20 minutes before arranging a time to meet in person. This initial consultation is an opportunity for us to get to know little about each other; for me to gain an understanding of your concerns and for you to get an understanding of how I work and to ask any specific questions before deciding whether to book an initial appointment. At our first meeting, we can discuss your current difficulties, your hopes for change, and how therapy sessions might be able to help.

I hope you will find me respectful, compassionate, and understanding. I aim to create an environment where you feel safe to share in what is concerning you. The relationship we form will be a crucial part in exploring your difficulties, making changes, and developing more satisfying relationships and ways to engage with the world around you. Please see these testimonials to see how others have found my practice (also see Google Reviews).

I am able to offer either short, medium or longer-term therapy work depending on your specific needs and preferences. My fee is £95 per 50 minute session.
